Each cat has different needs regarding amounts of food required. Cat size, breed, amounts of work/play, even the weather affects how much a cat will eat. Below is just a guide of the minimum amounts a cat needs to provide the necessary nutrition. Be sure to give at least the minimum amount listed below, and be assured in the knowledge that your kitten or cat is getting every nutrient that they need.

You can substitute Veganpet dry food with some Veganpet wet (tinned) food.

If you only feed dry food you must feed the maximum amount of dry food for the weight of your cat and ensure a plentiful supply of fresh, clean water.

Weight of Cat: Amount to Feed per Day
1.5 – 2.5kg: ¼ to ½ cup
2.5 – 4.5kg: ½ to 1 cup (1 Cup equals 130gm)
4.5 – 8kg: 1 to 1 ½ cups
Introducing a new food

To change your cat's diet to Veganpet, mix 20% of Veganpet with your cat's previous food. Refresh daily.
Slowly increasing the amount of Veganpet until on a full diet of Veganpet. This is a very slow process.

Always store in the bag in an air-proof container in a cool place. With large bags decant off a few kilos to last rather than open the bag daily.

Always have clean fresh water available.
